Downtown Dubai is an approximately 700-hectare district that borders directly on the famous Sheikh Zayed Road. This main thoroughfare was named after the then President of the United Arab Emirates “Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan”. The district consists of the old Arabic-style “Old Town” and a modern, luxurious complex with artificial water areas and the impressive Dubai Fountain.

Above all, however, this district is known for its center, where the famous tallest building in the world – the Burj Khalifa – and the Dubai Mall are located. Due to these hotspots, many famous and luxurious hotels such as the Armani Hotel – which is located in the Burj Khalifa – The Address Downtown and the Sheraton Mall of The Emirates have also settled there. It is the hub in Dubai for hotels, offices and upscale apartments.
